Epic Sci-Fi Haul – Charity Shop & Boot Sale Finds! (July 2025)
A weekend's treasure hunt turned up some absolute sci-fi gems! From a vintage Babylon 5 DVD boxset to Transformers: The Movie (1986) on DVD, plus some cool LEGO minifigures and The Mandalorian retro collection action figures – this haul is packed with retro goodness. Doctor Who Marvel Adventure Comics 1-6
A complete set of 6 mini-comics featuring The Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker). These comics were special promotional giveaways from Golden Wonder crisps and Marvel Comics.
The stories are colourised versions of strips from Marvel's Doctor Who Magazine written by Steve Parkhouse with art by John Ridgway. The Doctor's companion, Peri (played on TV by Nicola Bryant), was removed for copyright reasons.
Each 16-page comic is 10.5cm x 14.5cm approx.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Flyer (1989)
An original A5 UK cinema flyer to promote the release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Features the slogan 'The Man in the Hat is Back' and fold-out reveal 'And This Time He's Bringing His Dad', with stills from the film and behind the scenes photos.
A rare item for this well-regarded film starring Harrison Ford and Sean Connery, produced by George Lucas and directed by Steven Spielberg.
20cm x 15cm (folded). In good condition for age.
